Am I the proper editor for your book? I would love to find out.
My work has been a finalist for the Sturgeon Memorial Award, the Aurealis Award, the Ditmar Award, the Hugo Award, and the World Fantasy Award. (Elise, you aren't Australian, how the heck are the Aurealis and Ditmar on here! I edited Sword & Sonnet with an Australian who was eligible, see.)
I edited Shimmer Magazine for thirteen years, and have been selling fiction professionally since the year 2000. My first two novels were published with Prime Books/Masque. I currently edit The Deadlands, and my work for such was on the 2023 World Fantasy Award ballot.
I'm a writer and an editor working in the fields of science fiction and fantasy (let these encompass urban fantasy, historical fantasy, probably more soft SF than hard SF at the moment, epic fantasy). I am pro Oxford comma and anti-double-spacing after periods. I have a deep love for Courier and Times New Roman.
Query me via my handy contact form.
A query should include your contact information, and all details about your book. Length, genre, summary, which draft you're working on, and what kind of editing you are looking for. We can talk more about your project and see if I'll be a good fit! I look forward to hearing from you. Let's make your book awesome!
